This was my first time ordering from Eden brothers and I was so excited for this particular mixture because I think they are beauties. I received five tubers- one died, and out of the other four I have a Rose and twist that were early bloomers and have been blooming and beautiful all summer. The remaking two tubers have finally began to bloom this past week and I was excited to see which variety they are. One was the supreme and the other was another rose. I was pretty disappointed that I received two rose since I was expecting five different colors and one died and never bloomed. Despite the tuber color mix up, the plants have been big producers of buds and the flowers are beauties.

All the tuber clumps looked great. There were a few that broke off during shipping which I potted up separately just in case there was an eye that I missed for bonus plants that I could give away if they ended up sprouting.
Only two have flowered so far but I adore them and can't wait to the see the other 3. Cafe au lait and cafe au lait twist are pictured. I plan to tag them so I know which plant is which when I dig them up at the end of the season. I will split them for more plants and also to rearrange the layout once I know which is which.
I ordered 10 bulbs. When I got them, right away I noticed some problems: one bulb was shriveled, another had no eyes, a third was very lightweight, and even the "good clumps" had many broken necks. I planted them all, only 6 came up. 6/10.... Those 6 remaining have just started blooming only to find that at least one bulb wasn't even the right dahlia. The ones that were this product are beautiful, but 5/10 coming up and being the right dahlias was my experience and for the cost, I'm not sure I'd do it again. I'm a fairly experienced gardener with dahlias and am a little disappointed by what I received vs. what I ordered.

I have been buying dahlias from Eden for years, but I’ll look elsewhere after my last purchase. Previous orders came well identified, but my Cafe au Lait collection came in one large bag mixed together, no big deal, I’ll find out when they bloom I thought. Also, I was only able to determine 4 distinctive tuber sets and the fifth one was a small tuber no bigger than my thumb. Unfortunately only three made it to maturity and two of those are the same variety. I’ve never had this experience with Eden before, but these sets are too expensive to risk having this happen again.

Want to start of with thank you Eden brothers for all you do its such a gift to recieve your tubers that give me so much happiness! Unfortunately, had 1 tuber clump that every neck is broken. I decided to try to still grow them with no success. That clump just was too bad off. Also its very hard to know which tuber is which to plant due to no labeling. Other than that I love you guys and can't wait to see what's avaliable next year!
I purchased and planted these dahlias earlier this year. The flowers that grew are really nice and large. However, the photo of the tubers shown here is not at all what you'll get. I received small tubers, most of which were broken, many without eyes. I went ahead and planted them all, and about half of what I planted sprouted. So far I have flowers of three of the five listed varieties. I'll try a different seller in the future.
