Customer photo review of Snapdragon Seeds - Appleblossom

First time growing snaps. I am in 6a. I started these inside under grow lights at the beginning of Feb. Almost all of them germinated. They hit a bit after germination, they got a bit fussy for a few weeks, and then started to get their true leaves five weeks after planting. Not sure what their deal was but then they were off to the races. I potted them up and then transplanted outside may 9th- a littler later than I had hoped but the weather wasn’t cooperating. I also got some twiny bronze, but I like the apple blossoms better!

I may have missed it, but never saw how many seeds were supposed to be in a packet. My packet had a tiny tube of maybe 15-20 seeds at a generous max. I had poor germination rates which could well have been due to my first time growing. Ended up buying my Apple blossom snaps from my local farm store. Would not purchase again.

Store owner replied: Hello Elle. Thank you for letting us know about this and allowing us to make this right with you. This packet should have had over 2000 seeds in it and the issue has been identified in our packing department. We appreciate you alerting us to this, so we could check the rest of our stock. Thankfully it seems like it was a small glitch, but we are sorry this happened with your packet. Thank you for letting us provide a resolution to you. Please know that if something seems off, our customer care team is here to help you, and we will make sure that you are receiving what you ordered. We hope you get a chance to give these beauties another chance!

This was my first time growing snapdragons and I'm very excited to share that it was a success! I grew these plants hydroponically and within 65 days I had 3 flower stalks ready to be cut with more on the way very soon. The flowers I have are mostly white with pink on the lips and very ruffled.

These snapdragons are way better than the ones you find at the Garden Centers. Last long as cut flowers. The ones that bloomed were mostly solid white and pale pink. Very little yellow in them but I'm fine with that. I did get one magenta and one lavender. Will purchase again.
