About Cottage Pink Seeds - Sonata

Dianthus plumarlus

Dianthus Plumarius Sonata is a double-flowered mix, and at just 12 inches tall, is short enough to be used as a flowering ground cover. Sonata establishes readily from dianthus flower seeds, and blooms in a variety of colors including pink, red, rose, and white. Attracting bees and butterflies into the garden, Cottage Pinks are best used in borders, rock gardens, and in containers. Considered a mini carnation by florists, Sonata makes for a wonderful cut flower.
