I purchased a total of 45bulbs last year to try and naturalize add a pop of color to a woodland border area, so a partial sun/shade scenario which is listed in the description for the plant. Quote: "As the name implies, Wood Hyacinth are commonly found naturalized in the woods, being one of the few flowers that will thrive in almost full shade conditions." The bulbs were all planted at the same time and according the instructions. I marked each bulb with a marker flag for spring performance monitoring. So very disappointed to learn this Sprint that Not Single Bulb actually came up -- Not a one showed any slight sign of life. No, I do NOT recommend these to Anyone-- not even as a cruel prank. Not worth the time and effort to even plant.

I've eagerly anticipated these since last fall. I bought the color mix pack. What has bloomed are all white blooms (no colors) on a 3 to 4 inch stalk. Blooms are the size of the tip of my pinky. Plant and bloom cannot be seen unless you get on ground level to see it. If you are looking for something with visibility and color, this isn’t it. Other bulbs bought at the same time were accurate to description.
