    These are very pretty and healthy. Came up really well year one! A bit lighter in color than I expected from the picture, but really pretty regardless. This was the first year so I am curious how they will continue to grow each year.

    Planted 20 bulbs total — some in ground and some in containers. All 20 sprouted healthy leaves but only 1 actually bloomed. Other varieties purchased in the same order were planted in the same conditions and bloomed beautifully.

It is great that all the bulbs produced healthy foliage, and we understand how disappointing it is to see limited blooms. Double late tulips can sometimes bloom a bit later than other varieties, so it’s possible the others may still develop with a little more time. In some cases, factors like a mild winter reducing the required chilling period, excess nitrogen encouraging leaf growth over flowers, or the added stress of container growing can also impact blooming. All that said we want to make this right with you, and we’ve tried reaching out but haven’t heard back. We’d really love the opportunity to help.
