Mountain Phlox, an annual indigenous to California, thrives along the coast and serves as an excellent choice for cut flower arrangements. Its blossoms, predominantly white, often exhibit a delicate hint of pink or purple. Thriving in full sunlight, this flower flourishes in well-drained sandy soil. Commonly known as California Phlox, it can be planted in spring after the ground warms up or during the fall in zones 7 through 10. To ensure optimal blooming, regular watering is recommended.
