So I liked the look of the Hollyhocks. A neighbor let me have some of his seeds that are Blue Niagra. They are growing well. to have a variety I ordered these to get some Red in the garden. So far none of the seeds have germinated. This is the second go around. Love Eden Brothers and there other products are great. This one just fell short. The Kikyo Zaki and other seeds are growing well.

Hollyhocks generally do best when sown in cooler months, giving seedlings time to establish before facing the stress of your warmer zone's hot, humid summer. For better results when planting again, try sowing in fall or late winter so seedlings can establish in cooler weather. Be sure to keep the soil surface evenly moist (since hollyhock seeds need light to germinate). You can also consider starting some in trays, or pots for easier care, before transplanting outdoors for even more consistent results. Thanks for your time in sharing your experience with us!
