Commonly known as Persian lily, Persica Fritillaria make a unique addition to rock gardens, naturalized areas, or sunny garden borders. Bell-shaped plum flowers sit atop stiff stems with gray-green sword shaped leaves standing one to three feet tall. They bloom late spring to early summer, prefer full sun to part shade, and are best planted in groups. The dark spikes of Persica Fritillaria are equally as dramatic against rocks in the garden as they are in clusters amongst a planting of vibrant tulips.

These are interesting & unique, and I love the dark color. My newly planted ones from last fall have bloomed great. The initial ones I planted two years ago are only half the size and not blooming. Too expensive if they aren't going to be a perennial, but lovely.

None of the 5 bulbs grew. Prime space in the garden. Monitor water. No deer or skunks to eat the bulbs where I am. Very disoriented.

Store owner replied: Hello Shana Sessler. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, as feedback like yours helps us improve. We're glad our Customer Service team was able to assist you. As for these beauties not returning, this can happen if the soil is too wet over winter or if the foliage is cut back too soon, preventing the bulb from storing energy. We hope this helps, and thank you again for bringing your concerns to our attention!
I was super excited about this bulb but it never came up for me despite others doing just fine around it!

I was so excited about this plant and it left me heartbroken. It was a splurge as they were quite expensive. I followed all instructions and out of the 5 I planted, only 1 sprouted and died shortly after. I'm hoping they'll maybe pop back up next year but as of right now, they weren't a successful purchase.

Very expensive for something that never came up. I was excited about the dark color since there is very few options. First time I bought from you maybe my last.

Quite expensive for 1 bulb and it still hasn't made an appearance. Followed all planting instructions and in the proper growing zone. Very disappointed.
