My son and I sowed these in late April. It is now 7/7. To start, the seed packet contained very few seeds. I was glad I bought two but both packets covered very little surface area. The result? A garden bed that looks like grass. The very few flowers contained in this mix look sickly and thin, nothing like the photos on here. They only just opened last week, and were pretty, but now they have completely fallen over with a rain shower. I will not be buying this mix again, and not sure if I will buy from Eden Bros again because I had the same issues with the NH wildflower seed mix (also used in this garden bed). Very disappointed.

We're sorry to hear that the Easy Care Children's Garden Flower Seed Mix didn't produce the colorful display you and your son were hoping for. We understand how disappointing that must have been. Wildflower mixes perform best when sown on a well-prepared, weed-free seedbed with good seed-to-soil contact, and many of the seeds should be left uncovered or only lightly covered, as they need light to germinate. Heavy rain, weed competition, planting too deeply, or using too little seed for the size of the area can all result in a thinner planting. We'd still love the opportunity to help. Please reply to our previous email with the approximate size of the area you planted and a few photos, if possible, so we can take a closer look and work with you toward a resolution.
