I planted these last spring and actually had trouble identifying the varieties because the color, petal shape, flower shape, overall presentation of the flowers is not what I see when I Google these flower names. In order of upload is: glamour, breakout, Henriette, Hillcrest suffusion, and pink silk. Near as I can guess. Very rich slightly alkaline soil, Southern California Mountains. Dahlias thrive here. The one that looks like breakout is actually a small dahlia with purple lines, the coloring displays wrong in the picture. Breakout is actually yellow??!!
Extremely disappointed in this mix. Breakout was the only tuber that came true to variety, blooms were huge and beautiful. Pink silk -didn’t grow. Glamour - not true to color, was more like Lunda’s baby. Henriette - didn’t grow. Hilcrest Suffusion looked a lot more like Mak’s Betty Lyn - water Lily in style. I am an experienced grower and my other tubers all turned out great from other sources. Don’t bother with Eden Brothers dahlias.

I just received the tender mix tubers. 2 of the 5 arrived dried out and dead with no viable eye. I have reached out 2x with bo response. Definitely beware when purchasing as tou dont get what you pay for.

I received the tubers unmarked, the fifth one did not have a viable eye. The four that grew appeared to be Henrietta, breakout, Hillcrest suffusion, and glamour. Glamour did not look like what was advertised, but more like Francine. Hopefully, when I dig up, there will be some viable tubers and I can try again next year. I’m not sure I would recommend.

Had to toss a tuber with gall before planting. The remaining tubers grew well but look different than varieties listed (with the exception of breakout). The other varieties look like Sweet Nathalie and one that I have yet to identify.

In the 2023 growing season I ordered Tender Mix, and much like other reviewers I was very disappointed because my dahlias did not match those in the picture. Eden Brothers generously gave me a credit, and I re-ordered Tender Mix for the 2024 growing season. Once again the dahlias that are blooming profusely in my garden do not match the picture for Tender Mix—none are ball type shown in picture. Needless to say, I am disappointed again. I would like to try again in the 2025 season, but I’m wondering if Eden brothers should just take a better picture of what’s actually in the mix?

I did not see the variety in flowers as expected based on the product description. I also did not find the dinner plate to be large, they were a normal size flower.
