They naturally appear somewhat dry or wrinkled after storage, and size can vary, so appearance alone does not necessarily mean they are no longer viable. However, they should still feel reasonably firm rather than soft, hollow, or showing signs of rot. Please know you can always reach out to us, if you want us to look over your order upon delivery, so we can help you right from the start if needed. A mid-June planting in Zone 7 is later in the season and means the corms are trying to establish as summer heat arrives, which can make consistent moisture especially important while still maintaining good drainage.
