    Most of the seeds that grew were white. Some were single and some had an extra layer in the middle. Although I had hoped to grow the blush colored ones, I have fallen in love with the HUGE pure white blooms. Everyone that has toured my gardens are drawn to them and insist on taking a closer look. Will definitely grow them again next year!

    I planted these and kept them watered, but not one germinated. It was extremely hot when I planted so that might have something to do with it. I always have tons of cosmos each year, but this year I have none. Very disappointing.

They sprout best in soil temperatures around 65–70°F, and when the soil is much warmer, seeds can struggle to take up moisture evenly or may dry out too quickly at the surface.
