Bought a variety of anemone bulbs last spring, at least 60. Only 12 somewhat sprouted but not one flower grew. Hopefully it was just trying to establish it's roots. Nothing is growing right now yet but fingers crossed that it'll grow in the next couple of months.

Anemone Bulbs - De Caen Blue

Store owner replied: Hello Chi. Thank you for your feedback for us at Eden Brothers. We are sorry to hear about your experience with your anemone bulbs. We did reach out previously but haven’t heard back, and we’d still really like the opportunity to make this right. While anemones can sometimes take time to establish, the results you described are not what we expect from our products. These corms prefer cool, stable conditions, but in colder zones they often go from cold soil into quickly warming temperatures, which can limit both sprouting and blooming. It’s likely that some of your corms focused on trying to establish roots rather than producing flowers, especially since only a portion sprouted. In this zone, anemones are often treated as annuals, as they don’t always overwinter successfully. Please feel free to respond to the email we sent you, or contact our customer service team at 855-440-2929, so we can assist you further. We stand behind our bulbs and would be happy to offer further planting advice and a resolution!
