I was not expecting this variety to be one of my favorites, but it is definitely proving itself to be a contender. Beautiful, bold blooms and one of the first to bloom in the garden. Striking color pop against the green foliage. Strong stems, perfect ball shape, prolific blooms. Both tuber clumps I received were viable. I recommend!
These were one of my favorites last year and were as expected. Enjoyed these blooms all summer.
These are the belle of the dahlia garden this year! The color is vibrant and consistent and the plant has nice, hard stems. I just love them!
Don't tell my other flowers, because you should never play favorites, but Brown Sugar was my GO TO for flower arrangements. The color is burnished burgundy rust, with magenta details. It goes with everything, and is such an eye-catcher. I bought the 2 tuber size, and the bag had two big fat tubers, and one small wimpy one. I planted all three, and they all produced nice full bushes absolutely covered with flowers. This was a tough year for dahlias, but Brown Sugar did NOT disappoint!! I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

Has given me uniform and non-stop blooms!!!!
I received large healthy clumps, plants grew well but the flowers that bloomed are not brown sugar. They are in the same color scheme (red/bronze/brown) but flowers are lotus shaped rather than ball and have shorter stems. Looks nothing like the pictures.
