That I am surprised that the poor quality of The Tithonia seeds. None Sprouted and I planted them at different places, but also the usual places. I am really disappointed. In August, they are the stars of my garden

Store owner replied: Hello Kathy Galvez. Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that your Mexican Sunflower (Tithonia) seeds did not germinate, especially since they've been such a favorite in your garden in past years. We understand how disappointing that must have been. Tithonia is a warm-season annual that germinates best when planted after the soil has warmed to at least 70°F. Consistent moisture during germination is important, but heavy rains, allowing the soil to dry out completely, poor seed-to-soil contact, or planting too deeply can all reduce germination. Once established, however, they thrive in full sun and hot summer weather. Although we haven't heard back yet, our offer to help still stands. Please reply directly to our previous email or reach out to our Customer Care team at your convenience, and we'll be happy to assist. At Eden Brothers, we stand behind our products and are committed to helping every gardener succeed!

I purchased a pack of the Torch from this site and another. Planted them at the same time. The other pack all germinated. None from this pack have. I’m very disappointed. The pack here was also more expensive. I’ll think twice about ordering here from now on.

These were gorgeous and still have buds yet to open - October in the Midwest. They grew well over 5 feet in height and have many flowers. There were many visitors - bumble bees, hummingbirds, and lots of butterflies - monarchs, swallow tails and other varieties. Will plant again next spring

I have had little luck with most flowers, with this exception. Mine have grown as high as nine feet, and are always full of pollinators. Oh, do stake them...winds can bring them down.

This was our first to grow the Mexican Sunflower, and what a wonderful surprise. grow about 5-6 feet tall, HUMMERS and butterfly all day long and no fighting. Started in August and now early Oct. and still there. We will save the seeds and plant more next year. A plant will be a surprise for everyone.

    Mexican Sunflower Seeds - Torch

I planted a generous row of these seeds along the back of my raised beds (~10ft total) hoping a few would germinate- but all of them did! Grew to over 5' with heaps of blooms all season long. Tons of butterflies and other pollinators constantly visited, and the neighboring veggie beds looked great as a result.

    Mexican Sunflower Seeds - Torch

Love these!! They're so beautiful. I don't know who's been enjoying them more me or the butterflies and hummingbirds! The color is striking and the foilage is gorgeous as well!

    Mexican Sunflower Seeds - Torch

The seeds germinated and grew very well. These are large plants that make a great statement in the garden, and by far the most favorite flower to attract butterflies. The blooms last a long time and their Cole is a striking deep orange that contrasts beautifully with the leaves. I have planted them every year in the past six years. Love them!

    Mexican Sunflower Seeds - Torch

We loved these...never had so many Monarchs and Humming Birds before. Plant them near your deck and wait for the show. So exciting! We did have to tie them up, but small price to pay for such a show!
