Perhaps the cheeriest of all flowers, the Shasta Daisy is an iconic summer classic. Shasta daisy seeds produce hardy perennials which will form a thick colony once established. Suitable for all zones, the white petaled, golden centered Shasta daisy grows on a single stem. You know summer is in full swing when you see Shasta daisies growing in your garden!
• Perennial; Crisp white flowers that bloom almost anywhere

These were incredible, Being new to gardening I was under the impression that Shasta daisies are annual in my zone (6b) so when I sowed them last year, surprise - nothing came out! This year however, they were the first plants to grow - and grow they did! They are over 4.5 feet tall, a lot taller than I expected or imagined, but that's nature. What glorious plants! And certainly a great lesson. I'll definitely add these to my other garden plots.
Live in Wisconsin. Started these in pots last winter, spring, and summer.. Transplanted them in my yard throughout the growing season, and they grew huge green mounds the first year. This spring I was thrilled to see they laughed at our severe winter weather and were still green clumps under the snow. They now have flowers developing and it's still late April. Very early for us. I'm planting more this year. My yard will be full of daisy plants.

I planted these last year and they took a long time to bloom which I was expecting. This year they’re 4.5 feet tall and took over my garden which I was not expecting. I see in another review someone else had this happen too. I’m going to have to pull these to save my other plants.

The planting guide said a packet would have 423 seeds. Mine had a grand total of 10. Really disappointing. I usually love ordering from Eden Bros, but this isn’t the only packet that felt short this year. It is the most obvious one though.

I ordered these seeds last year and planted out my flowers about a year ago. The flowers are lovely. The plant is very hardy/tough and will spread (wider, not reseed) quickly. However, these got over 4ft tall. I wanted a daisy border at the front of one of my beds. They were really cute last year, thick with blooms. This year they were about 4.5 ft tall, and covered in blooms, when I finally dug them out. They were smothering out my other plants and stading out everything around them. They only flopped a little in heavy rain, which I thought was good for their size and would make perfect cut flowers since each stem was over 3 ft long, but that wasn't what I was looking for. I would totally recommend planting these if you have a large area that you want to fill in quickly and provide large beautiful blooms from a distance or height.
These seeds (really and edenbrothets) always grow! The key is soil prep is you direct sow. I prefer to start mine in 4" seedling pots then replant to their permanent home once they are 6" tall. I have been using the same bag of daisy seeds for 3 years and the seeds have not gone bad over time. I am only buying more because I've misplaced my original bag and plan to plant these daisys along 80ft of fence line. The plants are so resilient. We're in zone 6 and these guys will try to regrow winter! Hey will regrow after getting mower over in the fall. Each year hey come back bigger and healthier.
