Don't worry, this Porcelaine Ranunculus will not shatter when you touch it, but it definitely has a delicate appearance. The color is unique: something between coral, rose, peach, and raspberry if that's possible! As with its other ranunculus friends, this variety has a sturdy stem and will do well as a cut flower. The scent matches its beauty.

Note: In Zones 8–10, ranunculus are grown as perennials—plant in fall for spring blooms. In Zones 4–7, they are treated as cool-season annuals. Start corms indoors in late winter and transplant after nights stay above 30°F, or dry-store them and plant in spring after hard frosts.

Inaccurate color representation. Should have read the reviews before purchasing, as stated most of the flowers in this batch came out a bright Barbie pink, not the soft pink pictured. Only had 1 white. Disappointing! The brushstroke pink ones are lovely though, just wish there weren’t so many bright pinks!

Store owner replied: Hello hmstrjam. Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that the blooms did not match the soft pink tones you were expecting! We understand how disappointing it can be to plan for a particular color palette and have the flowers bloom much brighter than anticipated. Flower color can sometimes vary due to environmental conditions, and the first blooms may differ slightly from later flushes as the plants mature. However, we recognize that the number of bright pink blooms you experienced was not what you expected based on the variety description and photos. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and want you to know that we are actively discussing these reports with our growers. We are glad we were able to connect with you and provide a resolution that you were happy with. Thank you for your feedback, as it helps us continue improving the quality and accuracy of the products we offer!

These bloomed beautifully, and even kept producing into summer. However the color is more hot pink than expected, not the light pastel shades pictured.

Customer photo review of Ranunculus Bulbs - Porcelaine

I was so excited to receive these as a gift from my husband as ranunculus are my favorite flowers, although I had never attempted to grow them. I picked out the porcelain color palette, and I am so disappointed to find that the flowers that have come up are a bright fuchsia pink color. The porcelain package is supposed to be very light creamy colors, not at all hot pink. For the price that he paid for these I am extremely disappointed. The plants themselves (two corms have not grown) are only producing either one, two, or three buds and I’m not sure if this is usual for the plant or if they should be more prolific. The flowers themselves are also much smaller than I had anticipated. Ranunculus flowers are beautiful in any event, but I am disappointed.

I bought 40 fall planted and only had 9 sprout this spring. That was disappointing enough, but the first ones to flower are HOT pink. Which isn't the color in the description and doesn't go with my garden color theme.

Customer photo review of Ranunculus Bulbs - Porcelaine

I’m disappointed in this product.. About 25% of the corms did not even germinate, and the colors were not as expected. I ordered the romantic mix that were supposed to be pastel pinks, yellows, and white, but every single flower can out bright pink with white edges.

I live in zone 8a, I planted these in pots in December 23. They started to grow in mid February and have produced the most beautiful flowers. Well worth the effort and expense, I highly recommend them. Will purchase again.

I’ve never had such a hard time getting something to grow/bloom. The germination rate was over 90% but after they hit the 2.5-3” mark they just stopped growing and only one bloomed. Planted in some in the ground and some in containers after they were hardened off in late April after the last series of hard frosts. Not sure how much of this was beginners (poor) luck or what but wowza. I’ll give them another go next season after I attempt a more budget friendly version this year.

I planted these in Zone 8 (Mississippi) in November. This was my first time planting ranunculus corms. I soaked exactly as stated in the guide. We had a late freeze and I covered the seedlings a few evenings in February and March. My corona are more of a HOT PINK instead of a blush color. I planted 40 corms and have gotten about 25 blooms in my first week (3/27-4/4)
