This must be what happens when you combine a pink rose with a marshmallow! Huge flower heads, sweet smells, tall strong stems—you'll want to savor the Marshmallow Ranunculus for as long as possible, and that's very doable. They have a long vase life and provide great delight!
Note: In Zones 8–10, ranunculus are grown as perennials—plant in fall for spring blooms. In Zones 4–7, they are treated as cool-season annuals. Start corms indoors in late winter and transplant after nights stay above 30°F, or dry-store them and plant in spring after hard frosts.
• Also Known as Persian Buttercup

My photos do not do justice they look much darker in the photos than they do in person. They are the softest pink and so pure looking. They smell absolutely divine between a peony and rose. If I was a diy bride I would absolutely plant these for bouquets or actually anything because they are so beautiful!!! They are definitely a showstopper.
Of those that sprouted the booms were beautiful 🤩 some of the corms did come very small and those sprouted but never produced blooms so hence my 4 star not 5.
I did some research about growing ranunculus, and most sources made it sound difficult. My growing conditions are well below ideal, but these plants are hardy and endured everything from very warm temperatures to hail and very cold temperatures.
Bought these builds to grow flowers for my wedding, excitedly pre sprouted only to be disappointed not a single bulb germinated despite pre soaking, placing in a cool dark place and ensuring soil was the right level of moisture. Wondering if I can use them next year or if they are truly just duds.

I am so happy with my Eden Brothers corms. I had a 98% germination rate. I was worried they were a bit small but my flowers are so amazing, I know now it does not matter. I planted Dec 1st in Georgia zone 8b.

I will definitely try again next season Ranunculus are alittle fussy but they are so cute
I love ranunculus blooms but I live in zone 5 which makes them a challenge to grow. But! I did it! I finally have flower buds on mine and am eager to see the flowers! 😍
I'm a big fan of watching garden shows on YouTube and I always see ranunculus growing in people's gardens. I gave it a go and followed Laura's instructions on Garden Answer on how to pre-sprout corms. It's taken awhile but I'm finally seeing a few blooms come up (3) in my containers. The foliage looks healthy and strong but I've heard Ranunculus doesn't like hot summer weather. I will be trying to get the presprouted corms in a raised bed with hoops and frost cloth next year to see if I have better luck and get them in right before our last frost (instead of AFTER).
