I tossed these seeds on the ground and just hoped for the best. Despite rabbits and a drought here in the northeast, I have some lovely blooms now (July). Much prettier than I expected. Almost a ruby color on those tiny flowers .

Customer photo review of Queen Anne's Lace Seeds - Chocolate Lace Flower

These have been a surprise favorite addition to our garden this year. We started them from seed indoors and are now enjoying rounds of blooms ranging from light to deep purple. The stalks are tall and strong. We have some leftover seeds and plan to expand their footprint next year.

Poor- they didn’t grow despite tending to them. Very disappointing

Queen Anne's Lace Seeds - Chocolate Lace Flower

Store owner replied: Hello Susan A. Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry your seeds didn’t grow despite the care you gave them. In Zone 6, a May sowing can be appropriate, although germination and establishment can be affected by quickly warming or drying soil, excessive spring rainfall, or planting the seeds too deeply. Chocolate Lace Flower does best in full sun and well-drained soil, with the seeds sown shallowly, and the soil kept consistently moist but not saturated while they germinate. Direct sowing can also help avoid root disturbance as the young plants establish. Even with these considerations, seeing no growth at all is understandably disappointing. We reached out by email to offer assistance and a resolution but haven’t heard back yet. Whenever you’re ready, simply reply to our original message and our Customer Care team will be happy to help. We stand behind our products and our Grow Guarantee and would appreciate the opportunity to make this a better growing experience for you!
