Customer photo review of Poppy Seeds - Angels Choir Mix

I recently wrote a review that I didn’t get a single bloom. Now that it’s June and 100 degrees outside, right before I was about to pull them out of my flower bed, THEY BLOOMED! and they’re beautiful.

Store owner replied: Hello Becca Hancher. Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that your poppies did not bloom and understand how disappointing that can be! Poppies can be a bit particular about germination conditions. Because the seeds are very small, they need light to germinate and should be sown on the soil surface rather than covered deeply. Excessive rainfall, warm temperatures, dry conditions, poor seed-to-soil contact, or weed competition can all impact success. In many areas, poppies perform best when sown in late fall or very early spring during cooler weather. We are glad we were able to connect with you directly, provide some growing tips, and offer a resolution. We appreciate your enthusiasm for giving them another try and hope you're rewarded with a beautiful display of blooms next season. Thank you for your feedback and for growing with Eden Brothers!
