If your plan is to sit back and let Mother Nature do her thing, then this is probably the wildflower mix for you. Once you've done the proper soil prep and sowed the seed, you're-done! Our All-Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix contains many of the most beloved perennial wildflowers including Lupine, Flax, Coreopsis, and Shasta Daisy. Suitable for all regions of North America.

What to Expect: As with most perennials, the first season you plant the All Perennial Wildflower Mix you'll see a handful of blooms, not all the blooms. This is normal! Perennial varieties usually show limited germination in their first season after planting, but will bloom to their full potential in the following growing season.

This item may be considered invasive in specific areas of the USA. Please check with your local agricultural office for more information.

I ordered the Nebraska wildflower seeds. Got them planted a little late last spring (April). I am greatly pleased with the results . I ordered the smallest package and had great germination and results.

Bought Wildflower seed mix two years in a row, 1/4lb the first year and a full pound the second. Tilled the plot. Added compost. Planted as advised. Regular watering. Fenced off from geese. Lightly covered with hay. I think I saw 3-4 flowers this year (if I looked really hard)... from a pound of seeds. Don't even care about the $$$. But the time invested to get virtually zero results? Extremely disappointed. Would absolutely not recommend. Pic for reference. It was high concentration in a small area too.

We live in Kansas City (Zone 6b) and have struggled getting anything to grow in a bare, dry area with a southern exposure. After amending that sandy soil we scattered this mix in November 2023. The summer of 2024 produced a succession of pretty blossoms from April through September, and without expending any additional effort. BUT… This year (May 2025) the phlox and daisy blossoms have been spectacular so far! Last weekend there was a USATF-certified 4-mile race in KC and we are on the route. Runners were stopping to comment and ask questions! We look forward to the wildflowers that will appear this summer.

I have been slowly planting wildflowers in a 5 acre field. It’s a process because field grass is always coming us. Each year, it seems that different plants thrive. I have added an annual perennial mix every now and again to get a bigger pop of color.

It did take a few years for this really to show it's potential. I took great time and effort prepping and maintaining this area, I even pull weeds on a regular basis to maintain appearance, but it goes to show if you want to put in a little more hard work it can truly be a sight to behold. This mix is planted in the road ditch in front of my house and we regularly have people making special trips out here to see it. This photo doesn't even show the purple cone flowers blooming yet which will add a tremendous amount of purple to it. The Shasta Daisy's really took off on its 3rd year of growth.

I bought these flowers about 4yrs ago This is the 3 spring bloom. It only keeps getting better. Follow the prep- watch the videos and you won’t be disappointed.

Not much luck with these. Followed directions, watered, etc. All I have gotten is some short scraggly plants. Some have flowers but certainly nothing to cut and put in a vase. Wonder if anything will show up next year.

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

Store owner replied: Hello William E. We appreciate you sharing your experience with this mix. Since this was planted in early May in Zone 7, what you're seeing may still be part of the first-year establishment process. Perennial wildflowers often grow more slowly than annuals and may spend their first season developing roots and foliage, with only scattered blooms. Some species can also benefit from a winter's natural cold, moist conditions, so additional growth and a fuller display may appear next spring. For now, leaving the established plants in place will give them the opportunity to return and mature. We are glad you're willing to give the planting another season before deciding whether a resolution is needed, and we hope next year rewards your patience with a much fuller and more colorful wildflower display!

i tilled my garden, removing the existing weeds, broadcast the seeds, smoothed/raked them in and settled back to watch the weeds overwhelm the seeds.....total falure....what they don't tell you in planting wildflower seeds is that you can't weed easily or at all bc you'll end up pulling up the seedlings that were broadcast.....when planting conventiaonal flowers, they're placed in rows and the weeding is done where they are not

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

Store owner replied: Hello Chris M. Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry this mix became overwhelmed by weeds after the work you put into preparing the area. Wildflower plantings can present a unique challenge because broadcast seedlings aren't arranged in defined rows, making early weed identification and removal more difficult. In Zone 8, fall or cooler-season sowing can be especially helpful for an all-perennial mix, as many perennial wildflowers establish more slowly than weeds and benefit from natural winter conditioning. Tilling can also bring dormant weed seeds to the surface, so allowing an initial flush of weeds to emerge and removing them before sowing, without additional deep tilling, can help reduce competition. We are glad we were able to provide a resolution and truly appreciate that you'll be using it to continue growing with us. We hope your next planting brings a much more rewarding wildflower display!

I can't say anything except about germination as nothing is growing here in central NY where we had a nightime high of 28 degrees on tuesday and 29 degrees on Wednesday.

I have a large area of my yard covered in pinestraw and nothing else. I really did not want to have to pull back the pinestraw, so I just sprinkled these over the pinestraw and watered the heck out of them to get them to fall between the straw. Just pulled back some of the pinestraw and can't believe how many are growing and it's barely been 3 weeks since I threw them. some are peeping out of the pinestraw and some I pulled away. Don't have a clue what they are yet, but it's better than plain pinestraw. I figured even if I only get a 1/3 of them to germinate, for the quantity and cost, it was well worth it.

I purchased this All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix 3 1/2 years ago. I live in Central New York. We prepared a large garden bed by removing lawn, then tilling the soil. We planted in fall and were happy when many flowers came up the following spring. Mostly Shasta Daisies, some Siberian Wallflowers, a few Blue Flax, and I have seen one Sweet William. But overall looks good in spring. Then in summer, the bed becomes all yellow. 90% Black-eyed Susans, along with some Blanket Flowers and Mexican Hats, which all look very similar. But we knew we should be patient, since some perennials don't show up until the second year. The next year spring again looked good, but we also had TONS of weeds. Then summer was more weeds & Black-eyed Susans. We worked hard to get rid of the weeds, but in their absence the Black-eyed Susans just spread further. NONE of the other flowers ever appeared. This spring I have spent hours digging up those ugly Susans, which I have learned are extremely aggressive. Now I will plant perennial plants in that bed instead. So I do not recommend this mix at all. It is easy to plant but later lots of work weeding. Save yourself money and just buy a packet of Black-eyed Susan seeds, because that's ultimately what you're getting from this mix.

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

Store owner replied: Hello AJ. Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed experience. We’re sorry to hear that the mix did not perform as you had hoped over time, especially with the dominance of Black-eyed Susans. In wildflower mixes, some varieties, like Rudbeckia, can be more vigorous and outcompete others depending on soil conditions, sunlight, and natural reseeding patterns, which can lead to less diversity in later seasons.

I purchased this last fall. I waited all summer and fall and not one flower came up. Very disappointed.

Store owner replied: Hello Bob. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! We greatly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we understand the disappointment. It's so important to have feedback like this so we can continually improve our products and planting instructions. After speaking with our Customer Service Team, it seems we were able to resolve this for you. Remember to not cover them next time, as they need light to germinate and keep in mind that perennials take two growing seasons to flower, Thanks for your time in sharing your experience with us!

This was my first attempt at a Wildflower Meadow. I couldn't believe all of the beautiful colors and types of flowers that I had! I did try different packs of the seeds to see which I would like best. Can't wait to add to the meadow next spring. I tried to add photos but unfortunately was not successful.

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

Not all the seeds came up. I was trying to fill a space that I didn’t need to take care of. Also.. attraction for birds, bees and butterflies. I am a dissappointed with the product

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

Store owner replied: Hello Sylvia L. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Eden Brothers! We truly value your feedback, as it helps us continue to improve and serve our customers better. Perennial varieties often take longer to establish and may not produce full growth or blooms in the first year, which can make it seem like not all seeds came up. While this mix is designed to attract birds, bees, and butterflies over time, its full impact is typically seen in the second growing season. We're happy to hear our Customer Service Team was able to assist you, and we appreciate the opportunity to make things right. Wishing you a successful and enjoyable growing season ahead!

I seeded 6 pounds of wildflower seed this spring in 10 feet wide by 100 foot long and only got a handful of flowers to come up I don’t know what happened?

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

Store owner replied: Hello J Schwarzbach. Thanks so much for your review! We greatly appreciate your feedback on this matter. We're always looking for ways to improve our products and planting instructions and will certainly take your information into account. After speaking with our Customer Service Team, it seems we were able to assist you with this. Many people think more seed is better, but that is not the case. We usually recommend the seeding ratio for that area to be 1 lb of seed per 1000 square feet. Over-seeding an area with wildflower seeds can actually reduce germination success. If you ever have any other concerns or questions, feel free to reach out to us and we'll be happy to do all we can to assist. Thanks again for your review and best wishes for your growing season!

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

I have a hill that my house sits on and it was hard to manage planting at my age. These seeds were easy to sow with just a little work. At first they came in slow and I thought I would be disappointed but now my entire hill is covered with beautiful wildflowers. I just love them. And so do the bees! I’m so happy with this mix I’m buying another pound!

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

Planted these seeds in mid-Spring 2023 and already have flowers. Not sure of the names but beautiful white and purple flower blooms already. I was not expecting much until Spring 2024, but this product has vastly exceeded my expectations. I will purchase more once I convert more turf to soil beds for these seeds. Would highly recommend.

Purchased the ALL PERENNIAL WILDFLOWER SEED MIX and already have lupine coming up year two... everything I've read says 3+ years...this, in a drought. Very pleased with quality of product!!

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

This is actually my third year planting this mix. I started with 1/4 pound did not plant all but I was happy with the results. I purchased 1 pound of this seed mix the second year. I have been so happy with with this mix that I have since order this mix for my sister. I will also be placing two more orders for a friend and neighbor. I will order some more for myself too. I strongly recommend this mix if you are looking for non stop blooms without the need to plant every year. The plants come back bigger each year!

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

The seeds came up within a few days with great coverage. I was impressed with the seeds. I tried using Pennington wildflower seed mix also. Eden Bro's is vastly superior. I bought some more Eden Bro's which is on its way.

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

Bought seed to cover about 2 acres. We didn't kill off the wild grasses first, just tilled those up and mixed this in with it. Planted fall of 2018 and so far this year, can already identify 7 ot 8 types blooming. Can't wait to see what years 2 and 3 bring! Would definitely recommend and will order again!

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

I ordered this mix from Eden Brother's amazon site and will add this review to there (with a picture). We ordered 1/4 pound for a wildflower garden that is oval-shaped, approximately 15 feet x 10 feet, underneath a tree (part sun). We live in SE Michigan. The garden was planted in the end of May 2018, right at the beginning of a dry spell. After planting, there wasn't any rain for a few weeks, so the site was watered approximately 5-10 minutes each day. We had very few flowers during the first season, so we were concerned that they didn't take very well. This year, we have PLENTY of blooms, which began in late May. This is now my wife's favorite part of our yard, seeing what flowers come next. As of today, we've had daisy's, candytuft, wallflowers, and are starting to get some gloriosa daisy's. We are very happy with this flower mix, and are excited to see what comes next!

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

I love the fact that this is 100% Seed, no fillers like you get in most wildflower packets at the big box stores. I used it to cover approximately 500 square feet. My planting method was to first use Roundup to kill off 5 individual areas of grass, each approximately 10x10. A week later I hand raked with a garden rake to slightly loosen up the soil, then broadcast the seed with some sand. I packed it in, and this area was hit by my lawn sprinklers every other day. I don't know all of the species of flowers, but there is a good variety. Some didn't show in the first year, but may take another year to bloom since they are perennials. These were planted in Michigan in the spring, and by June there was starting to be some signs of color. July and August showed a real display of wildflowers. If you like watching grass grow, I'm documenting my progress of creating a wildflower meadow on lifespryorities.com. I expect this to take a couple years and will continue to post updates.

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

Planted these along a new trail in the north Texas area. Wanted something that could be enjoyed by many for years to come. We put this down thick. Year one barely had any flowers, but that was expected since they are perennials. Year two - good gosh! Absolutely awesome! What a cool mixture of flowers blooming at the same time. Love running along the trials and watching people stop to admire these blooms. Really great product & highly recommend. Just given them some time and watch out as they will be stunning

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

Took some patience, but we were rewarded! I wish I could post a photo, I'm proud! And now, on season two and I haven't done a thing, I'm getting more varieties, and beautiful return as well. Love this mix.

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

These seeds are awesome! I bought a 1/4 lb. package 5-6 years before planting them because we moved shortly thereafter and didn't have a good site for wildflowers. I kept them stored in the freezer. Last year we tilled up a couple of areas that were perfect for wildflowers. I found these long-forgotten seeds in the freezer last June and thought I'd try them because I had nothing to lose. I sewed them very thickly expecting to have a low germination rate with such old seeds. But lo and behold, I soon had think clumps of plants and a succession of flowers through the fall! Can't wait to see what else comes up this spring!

    All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix

I have no luck with seeds, but I followed the instructions, using the sand method and planted late summer/early fall and have germination after 3 days! I'm excited, hope they do come back next spread as promised. I did you regular sand and not playbox sand, actually i think it worked better because it holds moisture.
