    I started these indoors as I wanted to fill an old rock border that was prone to weeds. These grew beautifully and were HUGE! I cut them back that halfway through the summer mostly because they were overtaking the sidewalk. The photo is in September after their second flush. My summers get quite hot and I noticed they are lighter/whitish in the hot months and once it cooled in the fall, they darkened to their truer deep purple. The scent is amazing and strangers would stop to take photos of them!
