Planted 4/24/26. This photo was taken 6/25/26. Doing great and almost 1 foot tall already. Some leaves are coming in green but they are mostly black, and the ones that start out green turn black. We just love it and are anxious to watch it keep getting taller! Due to the colder Michigan temperatures this spring, we started her indoors and moved her outside when it warmed up. She will love next week in the 90s.
I purchased two of these along with 2 other bulbs on sale, none have emerged. I have 3 other plants successfully growing, as the weather is ideal. I think the bulbs may have arrived in poor condition.

I planted three bulbs last year and none came up. I was frustrated and called and asked for replacements.. I am pretty sure I planted them correctly and right side up… anyway with no hesitations at all they said they would ship me replacements at the proper time for free. They arrived and I tripled checked instructions and videos on planting. This time I made sure my hole was a little bigger ( deeper and wide) than required.. I filled the hole with quality garden dirt purchased at lowes.. then covered also with same quality loose dirt.. the spots chosen were are close to sprinkler heads and nice shaded/ partial sun.. this time all three are sprouting.. proper color .. and growing nicely.. hopefully they will get large and accent the path from shady area to my banana plant section . Congrats on standing behind your product
Like so many I see here in the reviews, these never came up - very disappointing.

I planted the black Jumbo Elephant Ears bulbs, and they NEVER grew. I waited all summer for the bulbs to grow. I purchased the green elephant ear, and they succeeded, but it wasn't jumbo. I have elephant ears from the past year that grew much larger than the (green) elephant ears purchased from Eden Brothers. The elephant's ears grew slowly and did not reach the anticipated height.

Slow growth rate, color nothing like picture ! Came up looking healthy but Barely got to 2 Ft . Black color only on the tips and veins of the leaves!

I purchased 3 bulbs to plant in spring. All arrived as expected. Planted in large, 30” containers and followed instructions but none even sprouted. So disappointed. Dug them up this fall and they are as when I put them in the pot. I do not recommend due to no sprouts.

I PURCHASED 2 BULBS OVER A YEAR AGO AND THEY NEVER GREW. FORTUNATELY EDEN BROTHERS REIMBURSED ME SO IM GOING TO GIVE THEM ONE MORE TRY. I ORDERED THEM AGAIN WILL POST NEXT YEAR THE REULTS. WISH ME LUCK
