The petals are so sweet and delicate a little bug started to eat my first bloom. I wasn’t having it and put a vegetable bag over the blossom until it filled out. Then blossoms just started coming. They are such a beautiful, soft pink and get compliments from everyone who sees them. Just looking at them makes me smile. They definitely need support and look out for pests like you normally do. Other than that it was easy to grow.
Both the tuber clumps had all neck broken. This was a very disappointing buy.

I planted these on March 23, 2026. I’m in the South USA. All of my other dahlias have sprouted. This one nothing. I also ordered Black Narcissus with this Gerrie Hoek. One Black Narcissus is 4” tall, the other one nothing. I was worried about Gerrie Hoek because the necks were somewhat weak and no sign of eyes. Same with one Black Narcissus. I don’t know what it is about ordering dahlias online but I almost always a negative experience with most of the tubers. I get a bag of 2 and turns out only one will sprout. It’s frustrating.

I ordered 6 different types of dahlias and a total of 12 tubers. Only 2 grew and they looked nothing like what I ordered.

sadly these didn't sprout. my only dahlias that came up were from a different company :(

I agree with the first reviewer's opinion. I have More than 10 kinds of dahlias and this is definitely one of my favorites. I bought it pretty late in the season but it bloomed reliably after eight weeks. The color is beautiful and they look gorgeous both from close by and the far away. Love it.
Here's one of dahlia lovers' big favorites...this gorgeous bloom is not so huge it drags down a tall plant. The plants are mid-high and the flowers only about 5" wide...plenty big for a dramatic show. Best of all, blooms are prolific, and you'll have a big show from mid-summer til frost. This is one of the most dependably beautiful dahlias I've ever grown.
Have grown this for 10 years in NC...needed more. A beautiful bloomer.
