My first time buying dahlia bulbs- I expected to end up with just 5 plants, but after separating the tubers I had dozens! I ended up with 15-20 plants. Even with pinching off, each plant is huge and was surprisingly easy to grow.
These dahlias were lovely! They all sprouted within days of being planted, and despite the less than ideal dahlia weather this summer and fall, all bloomed by some point in August and kept going till after Halloween! I’m excited to see how they perform in the years to come.
Hi there, I usually read reviews more than write them, but I saw another review with the exact same issue. I bought this mix in particular because of the small raspberry balls, and raspberry flower. No names, so I can’t tell you what they were, but they never happened. Might be something to take up with your grower for poor performance. Just a thought.

Beautiful blooms but some colors were very different than pictured. This was disappointing as I purchased these for a wedding. One did not germinate and did not seem to have a healthy eye. Another did not bloom so in the end I did not get any of the small ball like variety. Those that bloomed were very prolific.

Three of the varieties are absolutely stunning as pictured. Sadly, we didn’t end up with the small OR large raspberry colors, but rather a deep purple with white tips, and they don’t coordinate at all. Healthy tubers and no issues with them sprouting and producing. Just disappointing to have received something not as advertised.

So excited to see these come up but frustrated because, again this year, the mix arrived with no variety designations/label. I would like to be able to plant these mixes with the shorter varieties in front and the larger in back. However, after speaking with CS this morning, I was told that the tubers are shipped to Eden from the growers without labels. Please try to correct this!!
All tubers but one produced, the one I wanted the most, Rocco. I bought this mix in memory or my dog Rocco, but it did not even have any viable eye on the tuber. I planted it anyway, hoping it would take, but it did not.
