Another dahlia with that hard-to-name color with peachy-cream on the outer petals transitioning to a buttercream and green center. Sweet Suzanne's soft, pastel color combination is particularly striking on this ball, or pompon, shaped variety of dahlia. We love this shape for its fun, youthful vibe, accentuated by its rounded, incurved petals. Growing just three to five feet tall, Sweet Suzanne is a welcomed, moderately tall companion in beds or even patio containers.

Customer photo review of Dahlia Tubers (Ball) - Sweet Suzanne

This was my first year growing dahlias from tubers. I purchased two Sweet Suzanne tubers, and despite very wet, humid and unpleasant Summer weather here in Western PA, both have been prolific bloomers. The plants are healthy and big with many blooms. It's a joy to see the buds unfold and watch as the blooms reveal the colors. I've had peach and yellow with a bit of white and even - to my eyes - what looks like pink. Sweet Suzanne is a winner. Just to be clear, that's a Hollyhill Miss White in the bouquet picture...also a beautiful dahlia grown from an Eden Brothers tuber. I'm a happy first-time dahlia grower for sure. Excellent tuber quality, Eden Brothers. Thank you.

These are still pretty but not a ball type. Not sure if I received an incorrectly labeled tuber or if the genetics are breaking down on this one but was a bit disappointed. These have short, weak stems too, and can’t be used for bouquets. I had intended to use this in my wedding bouquet so this is very disappointing.

The first blooms on this were a solid pale yellow. Once we begin to cut those first blooms off, then it put on a very beautiful peach colored flower with a pale yellow center. It’s gorgeous, but it’s not quite peachy-peach if that’s what you are looking for.. a couple of them are really bicolor (see photos).

These are so much prettier in person. No matter how many pictures I took, they just don't do it justice. They were prolific bloomers, I absolutely love them!

Dahlia Tubers (Ball) - Sweet Suzanne

This is a very nice dahlia, but they are not this combination of yellow and peach as the website shows. Mine are just yellow - so very nice, but not as nice as they would be with a bit of peach mixed in! Very healthy plant and lots of flowers.
