    I ordered 4 Dahlia Tubers (Waterlily) - Nicholas which was about $50 and none of the tubers i grew was even remotely close to this variety. I was so disappointed, I’m not sure if it was a packaging error or what happened but my other orders turned out to be what I ordered except a few damaged losses which could have totally happened through delivery. This was the color and variety I was most excited for.

    The tubers arrived in good condition and the plants are growing well. The issue are the blooms. They have the right color (orange/peach), but I would describe the form as semi -cactus not water lily. It's been so hot this year, so perhaps the edges are drying up? Perhaps a different variety was shipped? Regardless, it is a beautiful flower.

    Although the color is pretty, I’m not sure this is what I was expecting as far as how the petals look after blooming. I have a single layer of petals, this is my first year with dahlias so I’m not sure if the first bloom will look this?
