Love these! Mine grew fast but bloomed very late and not very abundantly, BUT the wow factor of the collarette is so worth it. Will plant in a different location next season to see if that makes a difference in the number of blooms. Would buy again.

Mary Evelyn is a collarette dahlia with busy petals that seem to be blended from three different flowers. There's a deep red outer ring of petals, a bright white (and much smaller) interior ring, and a glowing yellow center. This dahlia first came from South Africa and has a small but showy flower. It looks outstanding bunched together in a bouquet and needs no other accompaniment.

These beauties were easy to grow and so lovely. They were my first dahlias to flower and are still giving me blooms now in Sept. I expect them to be amongst the last to bloom as well. These were at least 36" tall and had flowers as big as 5-6" across. Each of my 2 plants always had several flowers on it. So glad I picked this one up!

Bought a clump along with Kelsey Anne Joy. On both clumps most tubers had broken necks but I managed to salvage a few of each with eyes. I was disgusted and threw the broken ones in the compost forgetting to take pictures
