I received two tubers both that all had broken necks annd had broken completely off the crown and one single molded crown. Neither of them were viable. Tried to follow up on the supposed growing guarantee and they never emailed me back.

They have only been blooming for about two weeks so I can’t speak on the longevity of blooms throughout the season, however the blooms I’ve gotten have been beautiful 🤩

When it started blooming the color was more copper orangish, which was different from the picture. However, gradually the color faded and became more apricot pinkish, as in the picture. If you do not cut and enjoy in the garden, it looks amazing for more than one week.

This is a vigorous growing plant that produces a ton of flowers. Unfortunately, they are nothing like the picture. They are quite pretty though, and the plant churned out flowers until early October in my zone 9b garden. Both tubers had crown gall so bad that I had to throw one in the trash this spring and the other will end up there at the end of this season.

The tubers I received were not correct at all. They were a completely different color when they finally bloomed

Dahlia Tubers (Ball) - Linda's Baby

Store owner replied: Hello H. Thank you for your letting us know, and we are sorry to hear that your dahlia bloomed in a completely different color than the variety you were expecting. While temperature, sunlight, and bloom maturity can sometimes influence the shade or intensity of a dahlia's color, they generally would not account for a dramatically different color. Although we weren't able to confirm exactly what color your dahlia produced, we've shared your report with our Quality Control team so they can review it and follow up with our grower, as these tubers are pre-packed for us. We're glad our Customer Care team was able to provide a resolution when you called. We stand behind our products and appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as feedback like yours helps us continue monitoring the quality and accuracy of the varieties we offer!

I received 2 bulbs as stated but when I opened the package what was there was 1 bulb which was good but the other was 3 inches long and had 2 little hanging bulbs. There were 4 additional pieces attached to nothing which were 1 1/2 inches. This is not what I expected to get.

I’m not new to growing dahlias, I’ve been doing it for a few years now. I bought a pack of 4 of these and only 2 germinated, kind of disappointing.

Both of the tubers were in horrible shape. The necks were all broken on the tubers. There was not one that had an actual tuber attached. All the other dahlias came in great shape though. It was just this variety.

Planted in May and didn't bloom until September. The blooms aren't closed in th center; they are open/blown before the petals form.

This was my first foray in to growing from bulbs. They took forever to sprout, about a month, and then almost an additional 8 weeks to harvest my very first bloom. The harvest doesn’t seem very prolific and I’m sure there is new gardening error but these are beautiful and I hope to be able to grow and harvest more as I learn to care for them.
