I absolutely love these dahlias! I kept two bulbs and gave two to my mother and we both got beautiful flowers that are very showy and have been relatively easy to care for. Would definitely buy again.

I planted these Emory Paul tubers in March 2026 in Coastal Southern California. Before planting, I amended my soil with steer manure and set up a drip line watering system using two adjustable full-circle bubbler emitters on stakes. I then left on Vacation for several weeks. When I returned home, I was greeted by two incredible Paul Emory Dahlia blooms, each measuring more than 12" in diameter. Absolutely incredible! If there was a County Faire in our neighborhood, I would have certainly won First Place with these beauties.

This was the biggest dahlia I’ve ever seen

Massive dinner plate sized blooms! Absolutely stunning and easy grow. The photo has mine opened a little more but they look exactly like the stock photos.

This was a late bloomer, but boy was it worth it! I ordered 2 tubers and planted one in my backyard and one in my front yard. Only the backyard one bloomed. I planted at May 30th It just bloomed mid September. So far the blooms have been 10 in. They are magnificent! The most beautiful dahila I've ever seen!! I will definitely order more next year! I wish the other tuber bloomed too. This is my third year planting dahlias so I'm definitely a beginner. Each year I learn something that I can do better the next year. My garden in the front I planted as many tubers as I could 12-18 inches apart and I think I overcrowded them. Emory Paul is definitely a dahila worth ordering!!

Obsessed with my dahlia! It’s grew so strong and healthy, and beautifully!! It’s definitely a showstopper the largest flower I have compared to all my others!!

Imagine my surprise when this dahlia reached the height of almost 6ft. It’s first flower is just starting to open and I can already see it’s going to be a showstopper.

Super pretty blooms that are very large.

The tubers looked good, however, the sprout in one of the clump was broken during transit. I hope there are more eyes in the clump. I will re-review once the plant grows

I was really excited for these, but only 3 of the 4 bulbs grew anything and the ones that did grow never produced any flowers. I followed all the directions and when I dug them up for winter storage they didn't seem to have made any babies and honestly looked rough despite having full foliage. I'm just disappointed I didn't get any flowers and I am uncertain if they will grow next season without any new bulbs and the old ones looking rough.

These were such a joy to grow! Very large, bright, hot pink blooms...some as big as 14" across. I planted them in early May (southern NJ) and they bloomed from August through October. High quality tubers...I will definitely be purchasing more!
