Beautiful but not what I ordered. After looking at the website it’s clear that I was sent Labryinth Two Toned not Cafe Au Lait like I ordered. Super disappointed, i’ve been waiting all summer to see them!

I grew these last year and overwintered the tubers and replanted this spring. Both of my tubers came up last year, but since it was my first attempt at overwintering dahlias, I only had one tuber survive to plant this year. These were slower to start blooming than other dahlia varieties in my garden, but this one is my favorite and absolutely stunning. Color is exactly as expected. I have used organza bags over flowers to keep bugs from eating the petals before cutting.
I ordered dinner plate Cafe au Lait and got these peachy/orangey/red dahlias. They’re blooming well enough, but they’re obviously a disappointment since they’re not the color or type I purchased and don’t match the color scheme of my garden.

First year growing dahlias and this is a beauty. The first bloom was odd looking but afterward they were gorgeous! I can’t believe I grew this myself♥️♥️♥️
I ordered multiple Cafe Au Lait tubers last year and much to my surprise, the majority bloomed violet pink (bottom left in picture). Eden Brothers apparently does not distinguish between the pale Cafe Au Lait and the Cafe Au Lait Rose. Buyer beware!

These produced tons of foliage and a few blossoms that were pretty.
These took much longer than my other dahlia varieties to bloom but they are gorgeous! Of the 4 tubers I bought, 3 came up. The fourth was iffy when I got it but I planted it anyway hoping it’d sprout anyway but didn’t. Two plants are more of a pink tone and one is a yellow/beige tone (the tone I thought they’d all be) but nonetheless I’m happy with both colors that came up from the tubers. Beautiful flower!
Dahlias are my favorite, but I was always so intimated to try them out. I finally did and was blown away. I purchased 5 tubers, but one did not take. The other 4 did fantastic, though. They survived a ridiculously hot summer and becoming a snack for the deer about 5 weeks after they were planted. Once they were fenced in, there were no issues moving forward. I did stake them when I planted them, but had to add more later on due to the number is shoots that came out that needed support. We planted them on 5/20 and our first bloom fully opened on 8/31 with 20+ buds waiting to do the same. I can’t wait to see the rest!
The one clump looks very promising despite one tuber being broken
The other clump is pretty shriveled. Very small and most all tubers are broken
There are sprouts though so I’m hoping Ill get some flowers

They are truly breathtaking! I ordered 4 tubers, and they all did wonderfully! Even better, the tubers were so healthy and stored beautifully over winter in my basement. I have 18 to plant this year!!
Most other café au lait tubers I’ve tried to store and save end up rotting or shriveling. I’m so pleased with them!
I placed a decently large order which totaled over $100. I ordered a couple different types of dahlia bulbs. When I received my tubers there were only 2 that could even be planted. The rest were black and rotten through the center and completely unusable. They were opened as soon as I received them and I was so disappointed. I only had one to even come up and no blooms. I won’t be ordering from Eden Brothers again.

I live in Seattle and out house gets sooo much direct sun in the spring/summer/fall. My dahlias have done sooo well & I’m still new, this is only my second summer growing dahlias. I’m soo happy I ordered Cafe Au Lait, they are probably my favorite so far. These are absolutely breathtaking, my barista at my coffee shop couldn’t believe they were real flowers & asked to take a photo with it! I bring cuts to my family all the time & they are always complimenting that they are the most beautiful flowers! My neighbors as well, really anyone that comes to my house says how beautiful they are. Soo pleased with them, & I’m excited to see how many I’ll get when I pull them up in the next month.

I orderd 2 bulbs, they looked just okay. I planted them and only 1 of them sprouted, but it's not doing so good. Not sure if it's going to make it, but I'm hoping it does!

I ordered 8 tubers and only 2 were actually Cafe au Lait. The others are very obviously not Cafe au Lait. They're all beautiful, but not what I ordered.

I bought this product during a summer sale thinking it would ship to be planted the following growing season. (In our area dahlias can be planted mid spring and bloom until mid fall). I was surprised when they arrived shortly after my order was placed. (Props for the quick delivery) I was most excited about the cafe au lait variety that I ordered so I was so upset when only one of the two tubers I planted grew. The one that did grow didn’t not have a lot of blooms this year. I’m not sure if that was related to the late planting or not. I was able to get them in the ground June 30.

I bought two cafe au lait tubers and they were both viable and have done well so far. Unfortunately, they aren't what I ordered. I know this variety can sometimes be pinkish, but my blooms are really quite pink and much smaller than I would expect of a dinnerplate dahlia. While they are very pretty and the plants are healthy, I am sad that it seems I was sent the wrong variety.

Out of the 6 dahlia tuber varieties I ordered from Eden Brothers this year, this was the only one that was healthy, correctly labeled, with growing eyes. I continue to be blown away by this plant. It’s absolutely beautiful and was the first of all of my dahlia plants to bloom this season. And since it started, it hasn’t stopped. Even despite the crazy weather conditions we have had this growing season, insects, etc. Love it! Just don’t forget to stake it early.
Very sad, I was really looking forward to these blooms as well as the Labyrinth tubers I purchased. All four sprouted, grew to abut 6" and that was it, nothing else.
I have an extensive garden and haven't had a problem with dahlias before.

Tubers have sprouted and plants look very healthy can't wait for them to bloom
I ordered two cafe au lait tubers. Neither of them grew. Both rotted in the ground. All of the other tubers I planted this year from other companies grew in the same general location/conditions.
I know that plant life is not an exact science but I was disappointed to not see these bloom this year.
Probably will not order from Eden again.

I had great results from these tubers this season. I grew this variety for my wedding six years ago but didn't save the tubers. My sister got married this year, and I wanted to use them in her bouquets. I was thrilled with the quality and they brought back great memories. Great bloom producer and true to the variety. I saved the subers this time!
I purchased this Dalila when it was on sale. It supposed to ship out in spring however I received it during summer. So I planted in the soil after few days, it sprouted. I was so happy, but the sprouts got to be not happy and dry out. I have more than 10 dialias, 5 of them were purchased from Eden and they all grow so happy and keep blooming.

I ordered several bulbs and planted them according to instructions. After about 8 weeks they hadn't bloomed. I gently dug them up to investigate and found all of them had rotted.

I am planning to use these dahlias for my wedding next summer. I grew them this summer to test them out and also get some more tubers from the plants. This was my first time growing dahlias. I live in Michigan and the weather this summer wasn't the best, but these dahlias still grew wonderfully. I planted them in late May and the first bloom came around the beginning of August, so it took roughly 10 weeks for the blooms to start. Each plant grew SO many flowers! I had 14 plants and by September, I had over 40 blooms at one time. I was very impressed with these flowers!
The color and size are incredible. This plant needed strong support and staking in my garden. One you start cutting they will just keep coming. I will definitely try to overwinter this tuber for next year.
This was my first time growing dahlia tubers and I have to say I am hooked now! These dahlias are so amazingly beautiful I keep staring at them and showing everyone! The plants are doing great! Can't wait to grow more next year!
I planted these Dahlias about 10 years ago. They come back year after year... and are now so well-established that I can cut them down at any time of year and they almost immediately grow back. I live in a frost-free zone, but my other dahlias die back until the Spring. These seem to be more cream colored in drought years, and a deeper pink in years with lots of rain. I just love them. My favorite dahlia!
My neighbors are still talking about my beautiful dahlias! This summer was my first attempt...I was very nervous because of the deer population in North Jersey; however, the deer stayed away for the most part as I spray frequently. I am still amazed by the Cafe Au Lait and Thomas Edison flowers. I cut my last flower on October 20th!!! Truly stunning!!!
