Customer photo review of Cosmos Seeds - Xanthos

These germinated beautifully against my greenhouse in a tiny makeshift 6'x1' flower bed with happy frog potting soil and east-facing morning sun/afternoon shade. Very tall (as tall as me and I'm 5'5") but not as tall and towering as the picotee sensation and gloria varieties growing next to them that are now almost as tall as the greenhouse. Only complaint is the Xanthos variety came up with all white blooms instead of pale yellow as pictured. Going to look for a pale yellow alternative for bouquets next year. These very much look like the white double clicks which I also have growing further down the row.

Germination was okay, 70% ish but all blooms are white! Really needed the soft yellow for bouquets. I keep waiting for the yellow to come.

Only had two pop up, but both of them are bright white and not a lovely pale yellow. Disappointed.
