Customer photo review of Cosmos Seeds - Rubies Sunshine Mix

This variety produces lots of red toned cosmos for me but I got zero yellows. I’m not sure if I just happened to not get any yellows in my mix or if they didn’t germinate. The reds are lovely and some of my favorites but I was looking forward to the yellows as well

Cosmos Seeds - Rubies Sunshine Mix

Store owner replied: Hello Lizbeth Sadauskas. Thank you for sharing your growing experience with this variety. We are sorry to hear that your Cosmos mix produced only the red-toned blooms and none of the yellows you were hoping for. With seed-grown flower mixes, the distribution of colors can vary from planting to planting, so it's possible for one color to be more prevalent than another. However, the mix should produce a blend of colors over the planting rather than a single dominant shade. We appreciate you noting that the red blooms were beautiful, even though the yellow flowers never appeared. We have shared your feedback with our quality control team. We are grateful we had the opportunity to assist you and appreciate you working with our Customer Care team. We stand behind our products and hope your future plantings bring the full range of colors you were looking forward to!

I love cosmos and these are pretty, but there weren’t any red cosmos in this rubies mix. A pale yellow, bright white, pink, and fushia. Easy to grow from seed!

These flowers are always a JOY. This variation of cosmos is so beautiful and even here among the smoke and fires of Northern California have given abundance and brilliant colors. Thank you
