I kept waiting to see if they developed later on, but no, these are not like the photo. Just disappointing.
Cosmos Seeds - Double Click Double Violet
Store owner replied: Hello Heather. Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We are sorry these did not match what you expected, and we appreciate your patience in allowing the plants time to mature before reaching that conclusion. While individual cosmos blooms can naturally vary somewhat in doubleness and form, the blooms shown here appear noticeably different from the fuller, more densely petaled Double Click Double Violet form we would expect, so we understand your disappointment. We are glad we were able to provide a resolution, and we truly appreciate you sharing the photo with us. We’ve passed it along to both our Quality Control and Packing teams so they can take a closer look at the seed and varietal accuracy. Customer photos and growing experiences like yours are incredibly helpful in maintaining the quality and accuracy of the varieties we offer. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make this right, and we hope your next planting brings the beautiful, full Double Click blooms you were looking forward to!
