Bluecrop is a popular Northern highbush blueberry cultivar prized for its reliable harvests, exceptional versatility, and cold tolerance. It produces firm, flavorful berries with a pleasantly tart finish that are perfect for fresh eating, baking, freezing, and making jams or preserves. Expect an abundant midsummer harvest of fruit each July. Beyond its productivity, Bluecrop adds year-round ornamental appeal with delicate white blossoms in spring and brilliant fiery-red foliage in fall.

Bluecrop Blueberry will set fruit on its own, but you’ll get a noticeably heavier, more reliable crop when another berry variety with an overlapping bloom time is planted within about 50 feet so bees can carry pollen between them. We recommend our Duke Blueberry.
