Named after the devastating Oregon fires of 2020, this bloom honors the grief held by those communities who experienced the destruction. The fiery yellow standards reach high above ochre falls that perch atop strong three foot high stalks. A midseason bloomer, Oregon Firestorm Bearded Iris is a vigorous rebloomer that produces eight flowers per stalk. Though the colors are reminiscent of the smoke filled skies during that harrowing time, we love this variety for that same bright yellow that signifies a new dawn, a full sun, and the hope that it brings.

  • • Midseason bloom and late summer to early fall rebloom
  • • A drought-tolerant, deer-resistant staple for the garden
  • • Enjoys well-draining soil in full sun
