    2 of the 5 have not sprouted, which makes sense as they looked severely damaged (all necks broken or fully broken off of the mother tuber). I tried pre sprouting anyways, to no avail. THEN, one of the 3 dahlias that did show signs of germination is showing signs of gall (translucent-like buds). Because they were all shipped in the same package, every tuber will need to be tossed. I’ve heard of box stores like Home Depot and Costco selling infected tubers, but I just assumed a dedicated nursery would be more careful. Outside of these anemone dahlias, I have two more varietals from Edens that are showing signs of leafy gall.

    The website picture includes very pretty varieties --- I especially liked the 2-tone flowers. I didn't receive anything like that, unfortunately. Just a few ho-hum solids.

    I can't believe I spent $65 for two packs of bulbs and every single one of them was either red with a tiny bit of white, or all white! Both packs were like that! How does that happen! I didn't get a single one of those beautiful vintage looking colors as shown on the description photo. I don't normally write negative reviews on plants but this was so disappointing especially for spending so much money and on ones I planned to take the extra time and care to dig up and bring indoors for the winter.
