How to Plant All Perennial Mix
When to Plant Wildflowers
For All Perennial Mix a late summer or early fall planting is recommended once temperatures have started to cool but with your first expected frost still a few weeks out.
Where to Plant Wildflowers
Though many wildflowers do tolerate some filtered shade, and a few actually thrive in it. The vast majority are definitely sun-lovers. Wildflowers will generally sprout in all but the most difficult conditions. This means that pampering your site with fertilizer or rich sod is not usually necessary.
How to Plant Wildflowers
Clear the area and work the soil as best you can before planting your seeds. Don't panic when some weeds sprout along with the flowers, this will happen when the soil is worked.
We recommend mixing your seeds with sand - 5 parts sand to 1 part seeds. This allows for a more even distribution and also provides a convenient way to mark which portions of the site have been seeded and which have not. For a smaller area, you can hand-broadcast the seeds. For larger areas, we recommend a seed spreader to create a better cast of the seeds.
After the seeds have been sown, lightly compress the seeds into the soil about 1/2" to protect from birds and wind.
How to Care for Wildflowers
Although Wildflowers are pretty easy to take care of, there are some steps to keep it looking beautiful. Regularly weed to ensure your wildflowers are getting the nutrients they need. Water your plants during dry spells. Deadhead blooms that are spend to encourage new growth.

Spread the Love
This is actually my third year planting this mix.
I started with 1/4 pound did not plant all but I was happy with the results. I purchased 1 pound of this seed mix the second year. I have been so happy with with this mix that I have since order this mix for my sister. I will also be placing two more orders for a friend and neighbor. I will order some more for myself too. I strongly recommend this mix if you are looking for non stop blooms without the need to plant every year. The plants come back bigger each year!
The seeds came up within a few days with great coverage. I was impressed with the seeds. I tried using Pennington wildflower seed mix also. Eden Bro's is vastly superior. I bought some more Eden Bro's which is on its way.
Pleased so far...
Bought seed to cover about 2 acres. We didn't kill off the wild grasses first, just tilled those up and mixed this in with it. Planted fall of 2018 and so far this year, can already identify 7 ot 8 types blooming. Can't wait to see what years 2 and 3 bring! Would definitely recommend and will order again!
I ordered this mix from Eden Brother's amazon site and will add this review to there (with a picture). We ordered 1/4 pound for a wildflower garden that is oval-shaped, approximately 15 feet x 10 feet, underneath a tree (part sun). We live in SE Michigan. The garden was planted in the end of May 2018, right at the beginning of a dry spell. After planting, there wasn't any rain for a few weeks, so the site was watered approximately 5-10 minutes each day. We had very few flowers during the first season, so we were concerned that they didn't take very well. This year, we have PLENTY of blooms, which began in late May. This is now my wife's favorite part of our yard, seeing what flowers come next. As of today, we've had daisy's, candytuft, wallflowers, and are starting to get some gloriosa daisy's. We are very happy with this flower mix, and are excited to see what comes next!
Exceeded all my expectations
I have now bought many products from Eden Brothers and have been amazed by every product that I have bought. This beautiful mix of all perennial wild flowers was no different. I planted them in the fall and the germination rate was flawless. The plants came up so quickly, but did not bloom until this spring. I wanted to wait to write this review until I saw them bloom. It is only spring and the 4th type of wild flower is blooming now and they are all spectacular in color and quality. My family and I are excited to see what will bloom next year. You can’t go wrong with this mix. I love that it is a perennial mix and worry free on the maintenance. No more replanting and maintaining, only beautiful blooms for years to come. Which gives me more time to work on other things in the yard. Thank you Eden brothers for another amazing product. You have a customer for life.
Great Germination and Color
I love the fact that this is 100% Seed, no fillers like you get in most wildflower packets at the big box stores. I used it to cover approximately 500 square feet. My planting method was to first use Roundup to kill off 5 individual areas of grass, each approximately 10x10. A week later I hand raked with a garden rake to slightly loosen up the soil, then broadcast the seed with some sand. I packed it in, and this area was hit by my lawn sprinklers every other day. I don't know all of the species of flowers, but there is a good variety. Some didn't show in the first year, but may take another year to bloom since they are perennials.
These were planted in Michigan in the spring, and by June there was starting to be some signs of color. July and August showed a real display of wildflowers. If you like watching grass grow, I'm documenting my progress of creating a wildflower meadow on lifespryorities.com. I expect this to take a couple years and will continue to post updates.
Planted these along a new trail in the north Texas area. Wanted something that could be enjoyed by many for years to come. We put this down thick. Year one barely had any flowers, but that was expected since they are perennials. Year two - good gosh! Absolutely awesome! What a cool mixture of flowers blooming at the same time. Love running along the trials and watching people stop to admire these blooms. Really great product & highly recommend. Just given them some time and watch out as they will be stunning
Took some patience, but we were rewarded! I wish I could post a photo, I'm proud! And now, on season two and I haven't done a thing, I'm getting more varieties, and beautiful return as well. Love this mix.
These seeds are awesome! I bought a 1/4 lb. package 5-6 years before planting them because we moved shortly thereafter and didn't have a good site for wildflowers. I kept them stored in the freezer. Last year we tilled up a couple of areas that were perfect for wildflowers. I found these long-forgotten seeds in the freezer last June and thought I'd try them because I had nothing to lose. I sewed them very thickly expecting to have a low germination rate with such old seeds. But lo and behold, I soon had think clumps of plants and a succession of flowers through the fall! Can't wait to see what else comes up this spring!
I have no luck with seeds, but I followed the instructions, using the sand method and planted late summer/early fall and have germination after 3 days! I'm excited, hope they do come back next spread as promised. I did you regular sand and not playbox sand, actually i think it worked better because it holds moisture.
Planted early fall, Tons of blooms all summer!
I get all my girl friends with Eden Wildflowers!
Excellent service - waiting to see results

All Perennial Wildflower Seed Mix - 1/4 Pound
I bought these seeds excellent have been buying seeds from eden brothers for a couple of years. Never got bad seeds.
Pretty ...dang good
I planted several pounds of this and Burst of Bloom into a large CRP acreage. No babying them, weeding or watering. A year later, I have all sorts of flowers. I'd give it a 5 except I'm a tough judge and I don't think I got a good stand on 100% of the varieties.
I agree with Brennie. :)
I would say about the same thing as Brennie--it's been SO fun to walk among the wildflowers and practically every day see a new flower. I planted these seeds in very rocky soil, but I'm amazed at well they've done in spite of that. I can't to see how much thicker they are next year. I'm delighted! :)
I had to tell you how delighted I am with the seeds I purchased from you for my field. These pictures don't do justice to them! They are gorgeous and cover the field! - - and they keep changing! Thank you.
