Whereas standard peony roots may take up to three years bloom, Jumbo peonies have larger, more mature roots that produce larger blooming plants their first year. Unlike most peonies we sell, Jumbo roots typically have five to eight eyes, while our regular size has two or four. Still the same beautiful, late-spring blooms you're used to, just a little farther along in their growth cycle. This mix contains our best sellers in jumbo-style!

I planted these roots last November in my zone 6A. All of the roots came up in early March and are doing great! The roots I received were great quality and I can't wait until they flower.

    Peony Roots - Jumbo Mix

Got these for my mom for Mother’s Day. Sadly, only two of the three came up. Those two were super healthy, and we look forward to blooms now, in their second spring. I would have loved to have gotten another one in the ground to replace the dud, but since they never label which color is which in these mixes, we will have to wait until they bloom so I know what color to place in the failed spot!

They never bloomed. I may live in the wrong zone or over or under watered them? Anyway, I’m hoping after a year in the ground they pop up. Not much to say really.
