These are GORGEOUS in person. The tuber was perfect when it arrived and had already started to sprout. Can't wait to have these as a a garden staple moving forward! (I'm in zone 10)

Strong healthy plant but all blooms on two different tubers are dark red.

Store owner replied: Hello Crystal. Thank you for sharing your experience and photo. We are glad the plants themselves grew strong and healthy, but we understand the disappointment when they bloomed incorrectly. Your photo and the fact that both plants produced the same unexpected color are helpful information when evaluating varietal accuracy. We have alerted quality control, so they can fix this issue with our grower who pre-packs them for us. We are glad we were able to provide a resolution and appreciate you bringing this to our attention so it can be properly documented. We hope your next dahlias bring you the beautiful tangerine-colored blooms you were originally looking forward to!

Wow! I bought these discounted later in the season. Placed them in pots with new organic soil, no fertilizer or anything all season, and despite being planted late, they were some of my earliest blooms and are still continuously blooming into October. My tip: if you want the Dahlias to get the reddish center don’t cut them too early. Hopefully, I can overwinter the tubers, but if not, I’ll definitely be buying again next year!

I could not be happier with this variety. This is my first year growing Dahlias and these are constantly blooming. I would say the color of the blooms become more vibrant as the season progresses. The long stems also make for easy cutting and stands in vases nicely.

Totally Tangerine is my first blooming dahlia this year and started blooming at the end of May. My dinner plate varieties will probably start blooming at the beginning of July. I placed Totally Tangerine on an east facing portal and it seems to do well in the heat and doesn’t wilt on chilly evenings. We live in 6b at 7200 ft elevation and are having temperature swings between 55-95 degrees Fahrenheit. Will definitely include this variety in years to come.

I'm fairly certain that the tubers arrived infected with Crown Gall. Very disappointed - really wanted to grow this variety this year.

Ordered a few dahlia varieties from here and from burpee... seems like the burpee varieties did better. I had no luck at all with these this year. Not a single one came up at all.

These dahlia bulbs have already done fantastic in my Florida zone 9b climate! Each bulb bunch came with multiple bulbs/eyes. I did pinch them back once they had a few sets of true leaves, and each has multiple blooms on it at all times (with more on the way!). The color is definitely closer to the pictures (pink sunset colors rather than tangerine orange). I would highly recommend this variety for reliable blooms and will personally consider other varieties like this one.
