A popular fast-growing annual of the Matsumoto series, Matsumoto Blue China Aster is a spray-type variety prized for professional cuts and garden performance. It produces single to semi-double blue blooms considered the “best blue in the type” according to our growers, with cheerful golden centers on strong, well-branching stems. Equally at home in cutting gardens and flower beds, it adds long-lasting color while supporting pollinators. The Matsumoto series has been bred to be Fusarium (stem rot) tolerant, allowing the seeds to be sown anytime from early spring into summer for blooms April through October.
