I bought 3 Tuberose bulbs from Eden brothers and all can say is the experience has been awful. Only two out the 3 sprouted so that’s already disappointing. I planted them on April 8th 2026 and I’m in zone 9. I followed the instructions to the tea. It’s August 7th and still no blooms. I even fertilized with a bloom booster every two weeks and all I’m getting is foliage. The picture of the blooms is pretty deceiving. I wouldn’t recommend these bulbs.

In Zone 9, an April planting generally provides a long growing season, although tuberose can still take several months to establish and flowering may not occur until late summer or early fall. Warm temperatures, plenty of direct sunlight, consistent moisture, and balanced fertility all support flowering, but individual bulbs can vary in how quickly they establish and reach the flowering stage. Healthy foliage in August can mean the plants are still actively growing, but we certainly understand your disappointment after providing attentive care and waiting several months without seeing flower spikes, particularly when one of the three bulbs didn't emerge at all. I purchased 9 Mexican tuberose bulbs from Eden Brothers, and this has been one of the most disappointing gardening experiences I’ve had. Not a single bulb germinated. I followed proper planting instructions, gave them time, water, and care but absolutely nothing grew. Months of waiting, effort, and resources completely wasted.
What’s most frustrating is that these bulbs appear to have little to no viability, which raises serious concerns about quality control. It feels like the germination rate was never properly tested before being sold. As a customer, you expect at least a reasonable chance of success but that expectation was not met at all.
Customer support was also disappointing they don’t always respond to emails, which only adds to the frustration when you’re trying to resolve an issue.
Do not be misled by the attractive online presentation. The product simply does not perform as advertised. I do not recommend buying these tuberose bulbs. Save your time, money, and frustration. Be aware before purchasing.

They can sometimes be slower to establish, particularly depending on soil temperature and conditions, and in some cases may take longer to sprout than expected. They prefer consistently warm soil, full sun, and well-drained conditions, and cooler or fluctuating temperatures can delay or prevent growth. That said, we recognize this did not meet expectations. We are in the middle of a heat wave in 7B, plants are in full sun for the recommended time and all I have are greens. In fact, some greens are just coming up now and by now they should be flowering. I added bloom fertilizer recently, that got some of the ones that were still dormant to come up, but I'm not seeing any action here to produce flowers.

It started to germinate and then died once it was a few inches tall.

I had previously ordered bulbs from another company and they were duds. Since I love these flowers I decided to give Eden Bros tuberoses a try. I ordered the last in stock for the season thinking I would not get any flowers this year. I planted them and much to my surprise received several flower stalks with very fragrant flowers. I'm so glad I did!
All 25 bulbs sprouted with vigorous leaves within 2-4 weeks here in SoCal. Not expecting any flower stalks until next season. Good value for the price.
