If you have a thumb (no matter the color) you can plant sunflower seeds. Place a seed on the end of it and plunge it into the ground - within days you will see its beginnings. Not much room is needed for sunflowers as they stretch themselves up towards the sky, gracing us with their presence. Plant the bold Mammoth Grey Stripe, the classic Henry Wilde, the colorful Crimson Queen, Evening Sun, Red Sun or Velvet Queen, the demure Sunspot, the shy Lemon Queen, or a mixture of them all! No summer field, yard, garden or border should be without this beauty!
