The best green flowers and vegetable seeds

Flowers and vegetables are perfect companions in the garden, protecting each other from pests and enticing pollinators into the garden. At Eden Brothers, we think that green flowers and vegetables also go together aesthetically and that's why we pulled together this collection of all of our green favorites.

Maximize your garden space by having your edible garden double as your ornamental garden, or vice versa. Intercropping vegetables and green flowers in the garden draws more pollinators, making your vegetables the most productive that they've ever been. Looking out over a green garden evokes feelings of peace and security, so let your garden be both a literal feast and a feast for the eyes!

Infuse your ornamental garden with purpose

Plant Amaranth Green Callaloo for a twist on your typical leafy greens, and an herb that doubles as a bouquet filler. Pollinators love fast-growing and long-blooming summer annuals like Black-Eyed Susan Green Eyes and Bells of Ireland. Or plant perennial bulbs like Gladiolus Green and White Mix for recurring color season after season.

Display your peas and cucumber vines by allowing them to grow up a lattice or arch. The next time you're lounging on your patio or porch, you can reach up and grab a quick snack! Fill out your container garden with Salad Bowl Green Lettuce or naturally green zinnia flowers for a fresh new look.

Make an edible flower arrangement

Edible arrangements are easy to make and fun to gift. Start with Artichoke Green Globe as the focal flower and tuck in a few Amaranth Green Thumb stalks. Add Sweet Basil or Fiesta Green Cilantro as a fragrance-adding filler, and round out the bouquet with a few stems of Tomatillo Rio Grande Verde and Green Arrow Peas to add texture and intrigue.

Incorporate some foliage into your green garden with Fire & Ice Hosta roots and Upright Elephant ear bulbs. For a splash of color to complement all those green hues, sprinkle a few ranunculus bulbs around the garden—Super Green Mix flowers have green centers surrounded by outer petals boasting yellows, pinks, and oranges.

The highest-quality green flower and vegetable seeds on the market

At Eden Brothers we understand exactly how much your garden means to you, especially your eating garden. It's not an area of your life where you are willing to take shortcuts, and neither are we. We took the Safe Seed Pledge to make a commitment to our customers that we will never allow GMOs, additives, or fillers into our products—so that you can plant your garden with confidence, knowing that you are handling and consuming only 100% pure seed.

We intentionally offer as many heirloom and open-pollinated varieties as we can find because we believe in diversifying the worlds' seed stock and protecting history and culture. We expand our offerings every year to include more certified organic seeds, so if you don't see your favorite variety listed as organic, it's likely on our list for future projects.
