Fall Freesia Bulbs

While most people will plant freesia bulbs in spring, folks living in zones 9 through 12 can plant these beauties in fall. Freesia blooms start opening at the base and unfurl all the way up the stem into a trumpet-shaped flower. They have a soft and sweet fragrance that matches their colorful personality. Pollinators love fall-planted freesia just as much as you will! Like so many bulbs, freesia flowers create a gorgeous cut flower arrangement, but they are equally as divine growing in your garden. You’ll notice several fall-planted freesia and ranunculus mixes in our collection because they are such excellent companion plants.
