Shipping Information

In an effort to reduce costs and increase efficiency, we ship via several methods. All seeds are shipped year-round, while perennials & flower bulbs are shipped on a seasonal basis. We continue to ship spring & fall bulbs until inventory is depleted each season.

Pre-ordered Bulbs

Pre-ordered bulbs will ship at the proper planting time for your zone. Spring pre-orders are placed any time before March 1. Fall pre-orders are placed any time before September 1. For customers who order bulbs in advance, please see the shipping schedule below. Pre-orders will not ship immediately, but they will be delivered at the ideal time for planting in your area. Orders containing both seeds and bulbs may be split into multiple shipments.

Shipping Method

Standard shipping for both seeds and bulbs is through the US Postal Service. Taking both processing and transit into consideration, these orders take approximately 5-9 business days for delivery. Orders of larger weight and/or volume will be shipped via FedEX. If your address requires a specific method of shipment, please include a note in Step 4 (Finalize Order) at checkout. Simply type your special instructions in the text box to let us know of your address restrictions. We will adjust accordingly or contact you for further options. Additional fees may be necessary for some shipping requests.

All orders will receive an email confirmation of shipping once they leave our warehouse. This confirmation will include a tracking number which will confirm the method of shipment and provide an estimated date of delivery.

Our Promise

We try our utmost to maintain reliable inventory of all products, and are very proud of our record in doing so. However, as we are a company engaged in what Mother Nature provides, we do sometimes experience shortages, delays, and/or crop failures beyond our control. If, for any reason, we are required to backorder any portion of your order, rest assured we will keep you apprised of updated shipping information and/or any other options that may satisfy your needs and wishes.

Multiple Ship Dates

Your credit card will be charged for the full amount of your order at the time your order is submitted, regardless of the shipping time for your items. If your order requires multiple shipping dates, you will never be charged more than once for shipping charges. This allows us to ship your non-seasonal items to you as soon as possible, as well as allocate our seasonal product for your order.

For example, a customer places an order in February consisting of 5 Pounds of Wildflower Mix and 50 Darwin Hybrid Tulip Bulbs. The order would be charged in full upon submission, the seed would be shipped immediately, and the bulbs would be shipped at the optimal time in the autumn based on the customer's zip code.

Alaska, Hawaii & Foreign Destinations

We are pleased to announce that all items in our current catalog can ship to both Alaska and Hawaii at our regularly published shipping prices, and can take advantage of our generous free shipping policy (see rates above).

We regret that we’re not able to ship any of our products to any locations outside of the United States. The myriad of governmental regulations pertaining to shipping horticultural products abroad simply do not permit us to process foreign orders at this time.

Return Policy

If you have received goods from us that you have chosen not to plant, feel free to return the unopened seed package(s) to us within fifteen (15) days for a full cash refund less shipping costs. Note: No returns can be accepted, nor refund granted after 15 days of receipt. Refunds cannot be provided for Bulb/Perennial items due to their perishable nature.

Missing/Lost Packages

Eden Brothers shares your tracking information with you via email as soon as we create a shipping label for your package, right before it leaves our warehouse. Tracking numbers can take 24 hours to update once packages have been picked up by the carrier. For all questions regarding the whereabouts of a package once it's on the way, we highly recommend you first review the tracking information to check the status provided by the carrier, then contact the appropriate shipping carrier with additional questions (either USPS or FedEx for larger orders).

Sometimes, but not often, a tracking number may reflect incorrect information. If after seven (7) business days your Eden Brothers package has not arrived and is marked as delivered, a Missing Mail Search Request can be submitted to the Shipping Carrier by the recipient, or, we are happy to work with you directly on a resolution for either 1) a full and immediate product replacement, or 2) a store/site credit for the full amount of the order.  No cash refunds can be granted for missing packages. More often than not, packages are either accidentally delivered to a neighboring address, or the item ends up delivered after a slight delay. In the meantime, it is recommended to check with neighbors and/or contact the carrier with your tracking number to see if they can provide any additional information regarding your package.
